What can I get out of counseling?
Everyone needs some help from time to time. Seeing a therapist gives you an opportunity to have someone listen to you fully and objectively. I will serve as a guide to help you learn things about yourself that you may not have known before. In working with couples and families, I will serve as a referee in your relationship, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to be heard. More than anything, what you can get out of therapy is a sense of becoming the person, couple, or family that you always wanted to be. We all have an idea in our head of what that looks like and therapy can help you get there.
